The Digital Services in the Financial Sector seminar provides up-to-date information with a wide picture of the potential benefits of digitalization in the financial sector. During the seminar, we look deeply into the effects on the financial sector itself – both insurance and general finance.

Instructors
Seminar lecturer is Research Fellow Kari Hiekkanen.
Kari Hiekkanen has extensive experience in various IT Management and Leadership roles in R&D, Product and Service Development, Management Consulting, Training and Mentoring CIOs and other senior IT professionals. He has over 20 years of experience in combining IT and strategy in various industries. He has a solid knowledge of IT management practices, Enterprise Architecture and IT governance both, as a practitioner and, as an educator.
He has a Ph.D. from Aalto University and M.Sc. from Helsinki University of Technology. Currently, he is training in Executive Education Programs such as “IT Leadership”, “Analytics & Data Strategy”, and “Industrial Internet”. His ongoing research projects focus on digitalization of Industries, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Helka Pirinen is a key note speaker, author, entrepreneur and founder of People & Leardership Consulting.
Pirinen has an extensive track record in business transformation and digitalization. She has over 18 years of experience in organizational design and leadership development. Pirinen has worked as a Principal, Head of People and Performance, Capgemini Consulting Finland and Senior Manager, Head of People & Change, KPMG Finland. She has written a very popular book about change management, ”Esimies muutoksen johtajana”, Almatalent. Pirinen is an passionate speaker, who inspires people to ”reclaim ther creativity”.
