Diploma in IT Leadership

From a Support Function to a Developer of Processes and New Services

The focus of the Diploma in IT Leadership program is the development of business-oriented ICT management and the use of digitalization to develop a company's business activities.

The Diploma in IT Leadership program will explore the coordination of business and IT strategy, ICT management, portfolio management, and the production of customer-oriented services. The program will cover the entire company and IT value chain. You will become familiar with the IT challenges of today on a broad and tangible basis, through examples from various sectors and participants' development assignments.

During the program, you will develop ICT management practices and enhance your own leadership skills. Through the program, you will gain an understanding of the importance of information and information systems, as well as the role of IT management in business development and leadership.

The Diploma in IT Leadership is a broader-based, more strategic training program that does not take a position on any single administrative model, but adopts a more holistic approach to ICT management.

Please note that this program is held in Finnish.

A typical contact teaching assignment would be preparation for a reading circle that will meet during the contact teaching days. The purpose of the reading circle is not to refer to the content of the books, but to discuss any questions and ideas that are raised.
