Scope

Hankintojen johtaminen

Organizational competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability to strategically leverage external resources, supplier networks, and supply chains. At the same time, geopolitical shifts, sustainability requirements, supply chain risks, and technological transformation are reshaping procurement's role faster than ever before.

The Hankintojen johtaminen program (Strategic Supply Management) offers a comprehensive approach to strategic procurement, supplier and category portfolio management, and risk, sustainability, and resilience management. It helps participants move from operational procurement management to strategic leadership of networks, suppliers, and supply chains. The program combines the latest research, practical leadership models, and the development of your own organization into one impactful learning experience.

After completing the program, you will be able to lead procurement and supply networks as sources of competitive advantage and value creation:

  • Understand the strategic importance of procurement in building business competitiveness
  • Manage category portfolios, supplier relationships, and supply networks systematically
  • Identify ways to increase the business value and impact of procurement
  • Strengthen supply chain resilience, sustainability, and performance
  • Leverage market intelligence, data, and new technologies to support decision-making

If the participant successfully completes the program and later enrolls in the Aalto Executive MBA or MBA program, up to 4.5 ECTS credits may be recognized toward MBA studies within five years.
