The operations of Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development provide a sizeable income to the university community in the form of dividends, lecture fees, rent, and others. In 2023, the financial contribution of Aalto EE to the Aalto community amounted to approximately EUR 4.1 million.

Accreditations and rankings are a sign of high-quality education and research, continuous development, and international recognition.
As a part of Aalto University, Aalto EE holds the 'Triple Crown' of accreditations, the three most respected business university accreditations, granted to only around 1% of the world's business schools: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
Aalto University and Aalto EE participate in various university rankings each year. These include, for example, Financial Times Rankings, Times Higher Education World University Rankings, QS Rankings, and Shanghai Ranking. For Aalto EE, the most important of these are annual listings by the Financial Times: the European Business School Ranking, the Executive Education Ranking, and the Executive MBA Ranking, as well as the QS Global EMBA Ranking.
The Financial Times Executive Education Ranking lists the world’s leading providers of open-enrollment executive education programs and customized programs. In 2024, Aalto EE ranked 31st globally in the customized program ranking and 60th in the open-enrollment programs ranking. The Financial Times only ranks the top 90 customized program providers and the top 80 schools offering open-enrollment programs. Globally, executive education is offered by around 4,000 institutions. The ranking is based on assessments and information collected from participants and customer organizations, as well as statistical data provided by the schools.
In 2023, Aalto Executive MBA was again the only program by a Finnish university placed among the top 100 in the Financial Times’ global Executive MBA Ranking. Aalto EMBA program ranks 50th in Europe and 93rd overall. Around 4,000 EMBA programs are being offered worldwide, with only the top 100 making it onto the Financial Times ranking. The ranking is based on assessments and information collected from participants and statistical data provided by the schools. The ranking survey is sent to EMBA program participants three years after graduation.
Aalto University ranked 34th in the Financial Times European Business School Ranking in 2022. The European Business School Ranking is a compilation of various Financial Times rankings: the MBA Ranking, Executive MBA Ranking, Masters in Management European Ranking, and Executive Education Rankings. The Business School Ranking included 95 schools in 2022.
