Aalto EE offers thought-provoking leadership development services (Aalto EE), professional development services for specialists and managers (Aalto PRO), creative solutions covering the whole life cycle of entrepreneurship (Aalto ENT), and finance sector specific skills and knowledge (Finva). In addition to the above-mentioned four, Aalto ACCESS, a lifewide learning entity not restricted by organizational boundaries forms a pivotal component of the service portfolio.

Master of Social Sciences, MBA Kerttu Kuokkanen has been appointed as Business Area Director for Aalto EE’s new business area Aalto ACCESS. She started in this position on September 1, 2021. Kuokkanen has previously worked as Associate Director (New Ventures and Partnerships, and Lifewide Learning).

Aalto ACCESS offers inclusive and low-threshold contents that bring together undergraduate and graduate students and lifewide learning audiences both online and offline. While Open University mainly offers courses that are included in undergraduate programs, Aalto ACCESS focuses on program offerings that are easily applied to the participant’s work. Programs in the Aalto ACCESS portfolio are easy to approach for professionals who have already entered the workforce and want to learn the essentials of themes that are novel to them.

Jenniliisa Särkkä-Blomberg has been appointed as Business Area Director at Finva starting on January 1, 2022. Previously, she worked as Associate Director (Open Programs) at Aalto EE.

Finva serves the insurance, banking, and finance sector as well as individuals and organizations in need of financial or risk management training. Finva's offering covers certified programs in the field of finance and insurance together with a high number of focused topical courses and programs on related topics. The former Director of Finva Paula Salonen retired as of December 31, 2021, and Aalto EE wants to thank her for her excellent work and tremendous input in directing taking Finva to a whole new level.
