Health Technology Implementation and Utilization
A practice-oriented program for health technology professionals and social and healthcare professionals who lead health technology adoption in their own organization, whether that means managing the process, overseeing implementation, or handling the associated risks.
Adopting health technology in a social and healthcare organization is a planned, stepwise process that connects broadly to an organization's operations, management, information security, and daily work. Successful adoption requires the ability to define needs and make well-founded procurement decisions. It also calls for skilled change leadership and staff engagement, along with information security and data protection maintained across the entire lifecycle. This training offers a current, practical overview of how health technology adoption can be carried out systematically across different settings, such as hospitals and primary healthcare.
Participants will learn to identify the roles and responsibilities involved in adoption, plan training for different user groups, and build systematic monitoring and risk management that support patient and customer safety and the responsible use of technology.
The course consists of online lectures that are recorded for later viewing, keynote presentations, practical exercises, and project work. Studies can be completed flexibly alongside work. The course is free of charge for participants.
This program is in English only. Participants must live in Finland.
