Health Technology Commercialization and Export Expertise

A practice-oriented program for health technology professionals looking to strengthen their expertise in international commercialization, market analysis, and the strategic planning of export operations.

Health technology markets are global, complex, and heavily regulated. Successful commercialization requires simultaneous understanding of reimbursement systems, market selection, and pricing, as well as the ability to adapt strategy to the product's stage of development and clinical evidence. This program offers a current and hands-on overview of how health technology companies can build a viable commercialization strategy and enter international markets in a controlled and effective way.

The program integrates international market analysis, pricing and sales channel strategies, export regulation, and financing options into a practical whole. Participants will gain the skills to identify the right target markets, build value-based pricing, and plan the progression of export operations with financing, regulation, and distribution channels all taken into account.

The course consists of 13 online lectures that are recorded for later viewing, keynote presentations, practical exercises, and project work. Studies can be completed flexibly alongside work. The course is free of charge for participants.

This program is in English only. Participants must live in Finland.
