Aalto Tech Executive MBA / Aalto Tech MBA
The Aalto Tech MBA and Aalto Tech Executive MBA programs consist of two parts: first, the Leading Digital Transformation, and second, the Aalto MBA or Aalto EMBA program.
The Leading Digital Transformation program offers senior professionals a pathway to an MBA/Executive MBA education, combining core leadership development with a forward-thinking digital approach. By continuing their studies in an Aalto EMBA or MBA program, participants will both widen and deepen their management skills, earning the unique Aalto Tech E/MBA diploma.
Together, these programs form a holistic leadership development journey. The Leading Digital Transformation program equips leaders to apply their capacity in a digitally evolving business environment, while the Aalto MBA/Executive MBA program builds their broader general management capacity.
The Leading Digital Transformation program is worth 18 ECTS credits, all of which are transferable to the Aalto MBA or Aalto Executive MBA programs (each 90 ECTS in total). The credits are valid for five years after completing the Leading Digital Transformation program. After completing both programs, the participant will receive the Aalto Tech E/MBA diploma.
Participants who successfully complete the Leading Digital Transformation program and transfer the earned credits are eligible for a 20% tuition fee reduction for the Aalto MBA or Executive MBA.
Leading Digital Transformation
The Leading Digital Transformation program equips participants to navigate digital disruption, integrate emerging technologies, and lead innovation. It adds a future-focused, tech-savvy layer to leadership development.
Participants learn to align AI and digital capabilities with strategy, foster agile cultures, and stay competitive in a rapidly changing landscape.
The program consists of four study modules, each with mandatory, individual written pre- and post-assignments. Each module is held once a year, and participants can start the program with any of the modules.
During the program, participants will create a Digital Transformation Plan that helps balance their organization’s core business operations with new opportunities for growth and competitive advantage. Depending on individual goals and current business needs, the plan can emphasize either a technology-driven or strategic digital approach.
