Financial Times: Aalto Executive MBA's overall satisfaction highest in the Nordic countries

Financial Times has once again ranked the Aalto Executive MBA program in the world’s top one hundred from among thousands of peers. FT published the figures for overall satisfaction for the programs for the first time this year. Aalto EMBA program participants’ overall satisfaction is the highest in the Nordics, and globally the program is in the 14th place. Overall, the program was ranked 88th, which is four places higher than last year.
The First-Time Awarded MBA Scholarship Supports Innovative and Responsible Leadership as well as Lifelong Learning

The scholarship has been set up to support the ability of an ambitious and motivated participant to develop and manage organizations in an innovative and responsible manner. A Jewel-Like Art Piece Won Aalto Töölö’s Invited Art Competition

Artist Sakari Kannosto's artwork titled ‘Kiertää’ deals with the circle of life, achievements and the rewarding of expectations. The piece will be located in the staircase space at Aalto Töölö. It describes communality, growth, ambition, courage, winning, responsibility, and waiting for the future and all things new. The piece, made of polished brass pipe, serves as a spatial artwork in the staircase, depicting the seed-bearing branch of a Norway maple.

The ranking positions of Aalto University have strengthened in the recent years. For example, it ranked 9th in the QS Top 50 Under 50 rankings* last year. Aalto University Executive Education (Aalto EE), a part of the Aalto community, retained its place as one of the best in the world. Aalto EE was 42nd out of thousands of actors in the field in the recently published rankings of the prestigious Financial Times. Once again Aalto EE is the only Finnish operator in the top 50 in the history of the rankings.

Aalto EE reaches a record turnover for the eighth consecutive year

The turnover for Aalto University Executive Education Ltd (Aalto EE) reached a new record for the eighth consecutive year. In 2019, the turnover was EUR 23.6 million (EUR 21.7 million in 2018). The operating profit has also remained strong at EUR 1 million (EUR 1.4 million in 2018). The profit level is strong despite the company’s development investments in digitalization and new premises. Growth was achieved especially in customized solutions and in the Aalto MBA for Executives and Executive MBA training programs.

She is an expert in anticipating the future training needs of the financial sector, lobbying and cooperation with financial corporations and various labor market operators. Kallonen has previously acted as Head of Financial Work and Competence at Finance Finland (FFI).
