This online course provides a comprehensive introduction to the circular economy of soil and aggregate materials in the construction sector. Participants gain an understanding of how secondary materials can be utilized across different phases of construction projects, supported by data-driven management of material flows.

The course addresses the use of digital tools, including data and material flow management solutions, as well as the role of regulation and permitting in enabling the use of secondary materials. Both systemic change and practical implementation are covered, from planning to on-site execution, with attention to quality, safety, and environmental impacts.

The course consists of live online lectures that are recorded for later viewing, keynote presentations, practical exercises, and a project work. Studies can be completed flexibly alongside work. The course is free of charge for participants.

This program is in Finnish only. Participants must live in Finland.
