Scope

Liikennejärjestelmätyö

Transport system management is a multi-level development of the transport system. This program provides a solid foundation for successful involvement in transportation systems work at various levels. The program promotes the simultaneous consideration and better coordination of the needs of land use, housing, transport, services, and business activities.

The Liikennejärjestelmätyö program opens perspectives on key issues in transport systems work and challenges in developing new, more effective approaches. The program enhances the skills of key players in transport and land-use coordination and promotes integrated, innovative thinking. It will also help create a new culture, expand networks, and improve expert cooperation.

Aalto EE has been running the program for almost 20 years. For 2025, the program's implementation and content have been revised to better meet today's challenges. Aalto University Department of Built Environment, the Ministry of the Environment, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency,  Association of Finnish Cities and Municipalities, the Regional Council of Central Finland, and the Tampere City Region are involved in the implementation of the program. These organizations are responsible for the content of the program's training sessions and provide participants with the best up-to-date information on transport system work.

Please note that this program is held in Finnish.
