Gautam Basu

Gautam Basu is a Professor of Practice in Logistics at the Department of Information and Service Management of the Aalto University School of Business.
 

Basu's interests and specialization lie within Supply Chain Operations Management, Digital Operations, Supply Chain Risk Management, Business Analytics, and Operational Value Creation in Private Equity.

 

Markku Kuula

Markku Kuula, Ph.D.(Econ.), is Professor of Logistics at Aalto University School of Economics. 

He has been President of the Finnish Operations Research Association and President of the European Decision Science Institute (EDSI) and Vice President (European Division) at the Decision Science Institute (DSI). Professor Kuula has worked with several companies as board member including Kovanen Yhtiöt Oy, Mako Oy, Kulmala Oy, and IT governance partners IGP Oy. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals in Operational Research and Industrial Engineering (Among others, in the International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operations Research, Computers in Industry, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, and International Journal of Public Administration.

Niklas Lindholm

Chief People Officer, Oriola Corporation

Niklas is an HR Executive with international experience from companies like at Oriola Corporation, Fiskars, Paulig and Nokia. 

Tomi Dahlberg

Ph.D. (Aalto University Business School) Professor of IS (retired), Turku School of Economics.

Board professional in finance and IT industry enterprises, senior advisor on cybersecurity in board work within Directors’ Institute Finland – Hallitusammattilaiset ry. Chairman of the board at DBE Core Ltd

Currently involved in EU funded eFTI4EU and eFTI 4ALL projects to implement eFTI reference architecture gateways and platforms, in Peppol procurement and logistics message exchange and in the standardization of Digital Passport within CEN/Cenelec to support the implementation of EU’s ESPR ecodesign regulation.

Ulla Tapaninen

Ulla Tapaninen is Tenured Full Professor (maritime transport) at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, heading the Maritime Transport Research Group in the Estonian Maritime Academy. She is also Adjunct Professor (maritime economics and logistics) at University of Turku, Finland.

Tapaninen has over 30 years’ experience in logistics and maritime transport in academia, public and private sector. She has worked in key positions in two Finnish shipping companies (bulk and RoRo sector) and worked as a senior expert at City of Helsinki in charge of maritime cluster development. Presently, she in board of Port of Helsinki, one of the busiest intenational passenger ports in the world. She has published dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, and reports as well as other publications in scientific and non-scientific journals. She is a frequent speaker in seminars. She has published a textbook Maritime Transport by Kogan Page presenting the fundamentals of maritime business. She also publishes a blog ullatapaninen.net presenting contemporary issues in maritime transport.

Tuomas Tiilikainen

Tuomas Tiilikainen is Chief Supply Chain Officer at Oriola. He has nearly 20 years of international experience in supply chain, digitalization, and IT, working with companies such as Oriola, Stockmann, and Fiskars. Currently serving as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Oriola.
