Dipoli

Dipoli was completed in 1966 as the student house of Helsinki University of Technology, and after that, the building has served as a popular meeting and conference centre for decades.

The large building has been designed to blend into its surrounding nature by mimicking the natural shapes in its form language. The building is known for its large glass walls, natural materials, and sculptural copper and granite facade. The building is included in the register of DoCoMoMo, an organization specializing in the protection and documentation of modern international architecture. The building was renovated with respect to the original architecture, and it served as the main building of Aalto University from 2017 to 2025.

Dipoli serves as the main office of Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development (Aalto EE) and the home base of programs designed for experts and professionals.
