Aalto EE will award an MBA scholarship to one participant in the Aalto MBA program starting in January 2025. The scholarship covers participation in the program and materials (value 37,800 euros + VAT).

With the scholarship, Aalto EE wants to support a person and an organization promoting sustainability through their work. The application period for the 2025 MBA scholarship is April 23–June 16, 2024.

Aalto MBA is a life-changing program for experienced professionals and managers who want to reach their full potential and become business leaders with an innovative and sustainable mindset. The program starts in January 2025, and it can be completed in about two years alongside work.

The MBA scholarship is intended to enable participation in the program for a person who might not otherwise have the opportunity to finance their studies. The scholarship recipient will be selected in autumn 2024.

More information about the scholarship criteria and the application form can be found on the koulutus.fi website.

Aalto EE hopes to receive applications from people with diverse backgrounds, including people of all ages, all genders, and speaking different mother tongues and with different cultural backgrounds. The selection process emphasizes especially the applicant's motivation, effectiveness and ability for self-reflection.

Fellows from previous years are Jeremi Heikkinen, who gained experience in prison health care and now works as the Chief Medical Doctor, Digital Health at Terveystalo; Joonas Keskinen, Manager at the Art Testers program of Finnish Children's Cultural Centers Association; Kaisa Kannuksela, Director, Domestic Program at Finnish Refugee Council; and Matleena Aarikallio, Head of Partnerships at Oulu 2026 - Oulu Culture Foundation.

"With this scholarship, we want to support specifically the kind of applicant who strives to have a wider social impact and who is genuinely ready to commit to the themes of responsibility," says Kerttu Kuokkanen, Business Area Director responsible for MBA programs at Aalto EE.
