“The people who complete the Aalto MBA for Executives program have an average of 12 years of work experience, so we are looking for an experienced professional,” says Katri Koivula, Associate Business Area Director of Aalto EE.
The scholarship will be advertised on koulutus.fi, an online education portal, and a representative from koulutus.fi will take part in selecting the recipient of the scholarship.
“Last year, more than 150 people applied for the scholarship. This year too, the applicants for whom responsibility and sustainable development are important values and who have a strong motivation to get to study will stand out,” adds Emma Niemi, Communications Manager at koulutus.fi.
The MBA scholarship was awarded for the first time in autumn 2020 when it was given to Matleena Aarikallio from Oulu. She began her MBA studies in January 2021. Aarikallio urges anyone interested in the program to apply for a scholarship.
“An MBA degree is a perfect combination of pure facts, concrete examples, and important themes regarding sustainable business,” says Aarikallio, Regional Manager for Startup Refugees in Northern Finland.
The MBA scholarship will cover the participation in the Aalto MBA for Executives program (value: €37,800). The scholarship application period is open from April 30 to June 13, 2021. The recipient of the scholarship will be selected in October 2021, and their MBA studies will begin in January 2022.
