Johanna Kronstedt Receives the MBA Scholarship

The 2027 MBA Scholarship has been awarded to Johanna Kronstedt, who works in the field of youth mental health.

18.8.2026

Johanna Kronstedt has received the 2027 MBA scholarship, covering participation and materials for the Aalto MBA program. Krontedt’s studies will begin in January 2027.

Johanna Kronstedt serves as team manager at Sekasin Kollektiivi, which provides low-threshold support to young people in crisis situations. Sekasin Kollektiivi is a joint network of several organizations and over 50 partners whose goal is to promote young people’s mental health and offer support in crisis situations through, among other things, the Sekasin chat, Sekasin Gaming, and the Sekasin AI bot, which was launched in 2025.

Kronsted sees the scholarship as an opportunity to develop her strategic and financial expertise and strengthen her ability to take on even more impactful development and leadership roles. She wants to hone the skills that will help her make a broader impact on promoting youth mental health.

“I want to strengthen my strategic and financial expertise in particular, as these are key to effectively allocating resources and increasing the impact of our work,” says Kronstedt.

The scholarship application is arranged in collaboration with koulutus.fi. The scholarship was awarded for the seventh time, and this year’s application window ran from April 1 to May 3, 2026. After rigorous screening, two finalists were selected for interviews, with Kronstedt ultimately chosen as the recipient.

The MBA scholarship is intended to support an applicant who strives to have a broader social impact and is genuinely committed to issues of responsibility. The scholarship committee included Kerttu Kuokkanen, Director of MBA Programs at Aalto EE; Anne Nylund, Senior Program Director of the Aalto MBA; Ulla-Maija Uusitalo, Director at Aalto EE; Jeremias Ojamäki, Senior Relationship Manager at Aalto EE; Max Lundberg, CEO of koulutus.fi; and Merita Bruun, Communications Manager at koulutus.fi.
