- The Aalto Executive MBA climbed 20 places in the Financial Times ranking.
- Aalto EMBA is one of the most significant risers globally.
- The rise was driven especially by participants' higher salary levels and extensive work experience.
The Aalto Executive MBA ranked 72nd on the list of the world's best EMBA programs. In its annual ranking, the Financial Times lists the world's top 100 programs out of an estimated 4,000 EMBA programs.
"Rising 20 places is an exceptional achievement and shows that our programs create concrete value for participants. We are especially proud that this is the biggest rise in Aalto EMBA's history and that we are among the world's top risers this year," says Kerttu Kuokkanen, Director of MBA Programs.
The results show that Aalto EMBA attracts highly accomplished professionals. The rise was driven by participants' higher salaries and more extensive experience, which ranked 11th-highest in the world.
The ranking is based both on data that participants provide directly to the Financial Times and on statistical data compiled by the universities. The respondents are alumni who graduated from the Executive MBA program three years ago.
"We develop the program systematically, following the principles of continuous improvement. The Financial Times results manifest the success of this continuous development and the program's long-term impact. Three years after graduation, participants still rate the impact and benefits of the program very highly," says Professor Max Finne, Associate Dean of MBA Education.
Regarding customer satisfaction, Aalto EMBA once again ranks first in the Nordic countries and 15th globally.
This year's top-ranked program in the Financial Times ranking is the joint program of Kellogg (United States) and HKUST (Hong Kong).
