- The Aalto Executive MBA once again has the most satisfied participants in the Nordic countries.
- In a global comparison, Aalto's EMBA took a huge leap in customer satisfaction to 12th place.
- The Aalto EMBA has been ranked among the top 100 programs continuously for 20 years.
The Aalto Executive MBA program has once again been selected among the top 100 out of the estimated four thousand EMBA programs in the world. The annual ranking is published by the Financial Times.
In terms of customer satisfaction, the Aalto EMBA is the best in the Nordic countries and 12th globally. The program took a huge leap from 25th place in the previous year.
"Rising to 12th place globally in the overall satisfaction of the participants is an outstanding achievement. The participants who responded to the survey studied at the Aalto EMBA in 2020–2022, when the coronavirus pandemic had an inevitable impact on the program. The result is a testament to the uncompromising quality of our EMBA program," says Kerttu Kuokkanen, Director of MBA Programs at Aalto EE.
"We are constantly developing the program to better meet the needs of our customers without compromising on experience or effectiveness, even in challenging situations."
The Financial Times’ Executive MBA ranking is one of the most important international rankings in the field of executive education. Aalto's EMBA program has been on the list for as long as it has been published. It clearly demonstrates the quality of the program.
"The list changes a lot from year to year as some programs are no longer included and new ones appear or reappear on the list. I am particularly proud that the Aalto EMBA has been included in the ranking continuously since 2006. Only around twenty programs have such a glorious history. 20 years continuously on the list is a testament to our ability to maintain the high quality of the program and the high level of participants," says Mikko Laukkanen, Academic Director of Aalto EE.
This year, the Aalto EMBA program’s overall ranking was 92.
"The ranking places a strong emphasis on both the respondents' current salary and recent salary development. In the past, we have been on par with other Nordic programs, but now it is clear that even though the salary development of our alumni has been positive, we have fallen behind the very rapid salary development of respondents in other Nordic programs. This probably reflects Finland's relatively slower economic growth," Laukkanen says.
The Financial Times comparison is based on both information provided directly to the Financial Times by the participants and statistical data produced by universities. The respondents in the comparison are always those who graduated from the Executive MBA program three years ago.
