General Information
This accessibility statement applies to Aalto EE Service Portal (serviceportal.aaltoee.fi), operated by Aalto University Executive Education Ltd (Aalto EE).
Aalto EE is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its digital services in accordance with the EU Accessibility Directive. Service Portal is designed to be accessible, understandable, and easy to use for all users, regardless of their individual abilities. Our objective is to maintain a service that meets technical accessibility standards, provides clear and comprehensible content, and supports an inclusive digital learning environment.
State of Digital Accessibility
Aalto EE Service Portal was launched in 2023. The site's current accessibility standard is aiming at WCAG 2.1, level AA. The requirements of the Directive will be taken into account in the development of the service.
The information in this accessibility statement is based on self-assessment. Aalto EE Service Portal largely meets the requirements for accessibility.
Inaccessible Content
Service Portal requires further improvements in the following areas:
- Unclear accessible names for certain buttons and form elements, which may hinder screen reader users in understanding their function.
- Insufficient ARIA attributes in some interactive components affect how assistive technologies interpret content and relationships.
- Incomplete keyboard navigation on some pages, preventing users from fully accessing all functions without a mouse.
