Joakim Achren
Joakim Achren is a games entrepreneur who has been building games startups since 2004. His first startup was called Ironstar Helsinki, and the company focused on mobile virtual worlds and eventually Facebook social games.
After Ironstar, Achren joined Supercell in 2011 to run their analytics operations. He designed the analytics for both Hay Day and Clash of Clans, managing metrics related to player acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
In 2013, Achren founded Next Games, a Finnish mobile games company, which eventually IPOed on the NASDAQ First North stock exchange in March 2017. He exited the company in March 2019 and is now a full-time advisor, lecturer and board member for mobile games companies.
