Finance for Executives - Widen Your Perspective on Finance

Finance for Executives is an international program that gives you greater confidence in understanding finance. By increasing your know-how, you will understand how to interpret the financial situation of your company and its competitors – and see where to act. We provide you with an understanding of the economic development that your company is facing and the hidden opportunities that are available. We also offer a framework of tools that you can use to develop your personal competencies.

Learning methods

The program is geared towards practical hands-on learning by using case studies and real-world exercises to complement theories. The instruction methods enable the integration of theory and practice. A typical learning module consists of pre- and post-assignments, lecturing, discussions, case studies and group work. The language of instruction is English and Finnish, depending on the module.

Basic understanding of financial analysis is required.

Pathway to Aalto Executive MBA/MBA Programs

From the Finance for Executives program, you can transfer up to 12 European credits (ECTS) towards the Aalto Executive MBA or Aalto Part-time MBA Program. Each module is worth 3 credits.
